New Edition of Frequency Dictionary
A completely revised 2nd edition of A Frequency Dictionary of German by Prof. Erwin Tschirner and Jupp Möhring was released today by Routledge.
It contains the 5,000 most commonly used words in the German language today. These terms were taken from a newly expanded 20-million-word corpus and are therefore a realistic reflection of actual language needs at beginner levels.
It represents both written and spoken language in various genres, text types, registers, styles and regional varieties.
